How can that be possible in a tournament like this? Makes no sense. You've got one team with Gayle, Finch, White and Bravo and then you've got another team with Lynn or bust.

Recruiters and management deserve a serious kick in the arse.

though every year it's less apparent, most sides are still made up of the core of their respective states shield teams. this probably hurts the heat the most because they've got a few guys, particularly bowlers, who are good shield players but rubbish at t20. cutting, hopes and fekete is a decent shield attack but garbage in the big bash.

having said that there's still more that could be done, namely their international recruits, surely there's more out there than simmons and badree
