***Official*** Bangladesh Tour of South Africa 2017

Hope Amla gets a nice minnow bashing hundred here. Not had many chances to pad stats in his career.

Also Elgar
Yeah, would love both of them to go seriously big here, especially Elgar since he hasn't yet made a really big score in tests.

That said, I'd also like Bangladesh to be a bit more competitive

The only difference in the Bangladesh test side since October 2016 when they won their first real test match was the emergence of Mehedi. This allowed them to produce rank turners and take advantage. But other than that, the bowling is just as toothless as it ever been in their past.

A seam attack of Shafiul, Mustafiz and Taskin are not going to bowl out teams.

Agreed they lack firepower in the pace department. Obviously not much confidence in batting first either. Love to see SA have all their quicks fit and firing for the India series coming up on chin music happy pitches. Be a test to see if anything has changed outside of the sub continent.

Are you suggesting that Rubel 77.93 Hossain would be a better option?

More that they would have been better off picking Taijul, especially considering the fairly dry wicket.

I don't understand why they keep picking Shafiul. Sourav Ganguly would be a significantly more threatening bowler.

Its Walsh who has a say whom to pick among bowlers. I don't know what he sees in Shafiul.

Markram is in good company, Ponting got 97 on debut from memory.
Punter was given out lbw for 96 on debut. I was a little surprised that Fox chose this series over Pak vs SL. I seriously think that if this Test was timeless RSA could reach 4 figures against this attack.

I want Elgar to get out in the 140s for most new HS purposes.

Fox has rarely shown cricket in UAE. From memory, the only time they showed was when England toured which leads me to believe that it has to do with who they have existing partnership/deals with

They likely have some sort of a deal with Super Sport (South Africa) and Sky Sports (when England play)

Pak vs SL right now is with Sony Ten and doubt Fox have anything with them
