Vusi is seeing it like an absolute beach ball; a joy to watch at the moment. I've probably jinxed him now as I always do, but I had to make the post because he's looking absolutely imperious.

It is brutal just reading about it, I don't know what it must have been like to watch live.

Kinda want to see it, though. Morbid curiosity.

Trust me mate, you don't want to see it. It keeps playing in my head and I'm probably going to have a horrible nightmare about it...oh, it was awful

Not Terrible
I looked it up and it wasn't so bad up to the point where the replay shows the teeth actually fly from his mouth. I'll provide a link but yeah as Nigel says it's pretty horrific and I wouldn't advise watching it if you are particularly squeamish.

Good dose of reality for Zim. Completely outplayed in the last two games with their batsman being exposed for the inept players of spin they are. Statistically their tail is the worst going, essentially all-out once you get down to their number 7. Pak play their only test at Bulawayo, Saeed Ajmal must be licking his lips.

Couldn't agree more. It's time for Zim to move on without Elton. His form for the past two years has been horrific and to carry him around is just playing with one man short. Unfortunately there isn't anybody to fill the spot, but the likes of Cremer, Waller and even Utseya can be tried in the number 7 test spot. It isn't just the tail which can't score runs, even the number 5 spot has been problematic. Ervine scores lots of 20s and 30s, but doesn't usually get a big one, Mutizwa is unpredictable and Gary Ballance doesn't want to play for us. The best solutions for these problems are Sean Ervine and Gary Ballance(for tests) and also Colin de Grandhomme and Jim Cameron(for the ODIs).

Ballance I would think will be playing for England A in not too distant future. Be a real loss to Zim cricket. Just imagine he and Sean Williams at 5 and 6 respectively. Uncle Dave needs to stop touting Zim cricketers abroad. Colin de Grandhomme has already played for NZ A or their Emerging Side and has setup home there, so he is gone.

Zim don't need 5 bowlers in test cricket with Price in the side, he can tie up an end while you rotate Vitori, Jarvis and anyone but Mpofu. If you need a few overs of medium pace crap, give Hamilton the ball. Get a real batsman in for Elton.

I don't think de Grandholmme will ever play for NZ tbh, though we do have a habit of picking a token middling FC player i.e. Grant Elliott, James Marshall.

Not sure Zimbabwe have a use for him either. They have guys like Keagan Meth who do much the same thing as de Grandholmme.
