yeah plus how come we are playing with two fast bowlers only. Also as miraz is playing, it makes no sense whatsoever to play mullah
Wtf? I didn't realise that. Two quicks on this pitch?!?!

Just looked at the lineup - there's not even anyone who can bowl a few overs of mediums.

**** me, who's in charge of this circus. Absolute, utter stupidity.

Muzarabani looks an athlete for someone his size. Nice easy action. First time getting a look at Ngarava, not unimpressed.

Yeah just seen he's 198cm which I believe is 6'6. Not sure I love his action, but he looks quick.

BCB is riddled with internal politics hugely. It wasn’t any better but its reached its peak now. No body knows whats going on and board directors are free of any scrutiny. There are many issues that need to be resolved. Domingo as coach and Mominul as captain riding their luck for a long time now. I was worried that a win in Zimbabwe will give them a chance for eye wash and bury the matter but it looks like they won’t be able to pick up that win.

Mominul's record as captain is really something to behold.

Mominul looks a bit more comfortable than the others. He owes us a ton to make up for his decision to bat first.

Muza looking potent from around the wicket, should have changed angle earlier.

I think this pitch will flatten out nicely once the ball loses it's shine, but we'll see.

Yeah I'm starting to think the same. Hopefully there's some sunshine to come.

The rest of the Zimbabwe seamers haven't looked like they're up to much so far although I'm worried I'll eat my words.

When did Mominul get so good off his pads? Looking wonderful playing those shots today.

That Zimbabwe line-up looks very short on experience. The batting is going to be exceptionally fragile.

Losing Raza to some random infection and Ervine and Williams to potential covid. Even when they're not losing players to other countries, Zimbabwe always find a way to pull out some additional adversity.

Yeah that's a shocking run of luck for the Zimmers, feel for them.

Who have they lost to other countries, out of interest?

Over the years? I guess plenty (Colin de Grandhomme being the most recent that I can think of), but my comment was more pointed at Peter Moor now plying his trade in Ireland.

EDIT: Pretty good YouTube stream this.

Bit annoying there's no speed gun here, would love to see what these Zimbabweans are bowling. They've even got one at Ireland v Netherlands.
