***Official*** Bangladesh in Sri Lanka

I don't think SL will find it that easy...I could see them being dismissed for 450 odd.

Not much interest in this game I gather. Decent start for Bangladesh, 112/2 at lunch with Habibul 54* and Ashraful at the other end. Bangladesh could put up quite a decent total, given the generally flat pitches that get served up at the Premadasa stadium. They've scored at 4 an over so far so I imagine this pitch isn't any different.

They'll probably crumble now I've said this, but Bangladesh actually looking quite good at 148/2, good innings by Bashar, 77 off 87 balls so far.

Let's wait and see if Bangladesh have a few bowlers who can do the job. Otherwise even 500+ in first innings could be nowhere near enough.

Bashar moves into the 80s with a lovely cut. The pitch looks very flat yet Murali is getting a fair amount of turn

Bangladesh doing well IMO . SL struggling to 312/6 after 93 overs !!

Mohammed Rafique and Enamul Haque must be Bangladeshi equivalent of the spin twins !! :D

Good on Bangladesh !! :D

Another one to Rafique, SL 337/7. Real missed opportunity for Bangladesh here, had they not collapsed they could have been in quite a good position by now.

The first innings really is a pity now. It was Ashraful's terrible shot to get out which triggered the collapse and then the disgraceful 3rd umpire decision to give Bashar run out that was the catalyst. Bashar probably would have got 100 and could have steadied the ship right back up for Bangladesh but the 3rd umpire would have nothing of it.

They say that the decisions equal themselves up and Atapattu should have been not out aswell. Bangladesh just always seem to be on the receiving end of 50-50 decisions and it usually messes them up even more

Bangladesh have now collapsed. 36/3 to 86 all out. Murali the destroyer 6-18. What shame! They just couldnt handle him on a helpful spinning pitch. Even yesterday, one Bangladesh batsman let Murali bowl him between his legs.

Didn't see it , But I would rather 3rd Umpire decisions when 50/50 are given in favour of the weaker Team. That makes Cricket more interesting.

I sympathise with you, But I remember the days when SL was a weakling and in Australia /NZ /India and even in SL the umpires decision went against us all the time.

I feel your pain , if its any comfort !! :(

This match served nobody any purpose, apart from helping Murali get some cheap wickets !!

Can we have Weerakoon for next Test please, and some other A teamers like Daniel/Van Dort (is that too much to ask ? :@ ) ? :( :(

I find it so ridiculous that once again, Murali is taking Bangladesh/Zimbabwe apart, whilst Warne dukes it out in one of the best series ever. Statistics don`t tell the whole story.

No, they don't.

But Murali has still not played the Current England line up.

But his record against England/South Africa are just as good or even better !!

Just because he doesn't play in an Ashes against England every 2 years like Warne , doesn't mean his record is poor !!

Besides, the best players of spin are India not England, and we know Warnes record against India !

I'd like to see Vandort, Kalawitigoda, weerakoon and prasana brought in for the next match.
