Herath with the new ball but I think Kumara will have some impact esp on Miraz
Its his determination that I am impressed with. A lot like Mushfiq when he started out batting wise.As much as I like Miraz, I am sad that his batting is not meme material anymore.
goddamnit flibberty have you learnt nothing about jinxing and gambhiringMaking himself look a real quality player, the batting is there. Just a comic start by him.
Yeah agree. Also 'I am Shakib thats the way I play' does not hold anymore. If he's so wreckless then he needs to bat at 7 or 8. No. 5 is a crucial position and we cant afford to play someone who will play like a hack regardless of the situation. The frustrating part about being Bangladesh is when the ROW is so clueless about you, they are still stuck in 2001 when you used to hope you cross 100 in the first innings, that they come to you and say "oh Bangladesh played well man" at 312/9, clearly expecting them to fold for 100.
No they did not play well you dumb ****s. They scored 600 in New Zealand 2 months ago. They scored 638 in Sri Lanka 4 years ago. They were 120/0. They collapsed and that's inexcusable for them now.
This is more important and correct than what BW said. The fact is Shakib is a senior player and still makes the same mistakes he was making 6 or 7 years ago. He has the talent but just doesn't seem to apply it or want to apply it. Got to give Mushy credit he has matured and is a good batsman now and hopefully he won't take the gloves again unless it is as a late replacement. Tamim comes into the Shakib category too, how often does he get set and throw it away which sparks trouble.Yeah agree. Also 'I am Shakib thats the way I play' does not hold anymore. If he's so wreckless then he needs to bat at 7 or 8. No. 5 is a crucial position and we cant afford to play someone who will play like a hack regardless of the situation.
Which is why it is crucial they don't lose this. No more same old Bangladesh, front up and grind a result. It will pan out similar to the match against India.. they'll fall heartbreakingly short and get bowled out in the last session of day 5. 150+ run lead is too big to concede.
