Whatever it takes!!!
hmm on one hand sledging in non-contact sport is pretty cowardly so elgar sounds like the typical batsman hiding behind his bowlers. on the other hand, bangers are not known for being shrinking violets, especially mushfiqur.
I am just disappointed they did not bring out the nagin dance when he got out.

Isn't the rule for those lbws that it has to be within 2.5 m down the track or am I misremembering? I thinki saw that somewhere along with impact on the drs.

How do you know that the Saffas were being insulting pricks and the Bangladeshis aren't just being precious?

Without knowing what was actually said on the field we can not say with any certainty either is true.

And what insults are OK? Is telling an oke he can't bat insulting and therefore on the side of the imaginary line of what is acceptable and what is not?
I have in no way said that what SA did or did not say was acceptable or not, or insulting or not. But to pretend that the sledging does not sometimes go to far and/or to blame the people receiving the insults is just poor.

The whole context here is from you original comment which basically blamed the victims (i.e telling Bangladesh to grow up and accept) and then say what the SA team of the past had to deal with was worse... both of those arguments are irrelevant to whether sledging and insulting your opponent is acceptable. And whether SA did or did not go to far last test.

That's not the first time they've reviewed something that's come right off the middle of the bat. ATG bad reviewing team this lot.

Don't blame them for not believing the umpires, mind. It's been like 4 or 5 Out LBW decisions given not out vs the Deshi's this tour so far, including Keegans!

Another decision given not out against BD that got overturned on review

The sheer bad luck of all of it is hilarious. I was joking about the conspiracy, but come on what's happening here lol

Wasn't test one 4 overturned decisions each plus one that would have been each, but the respective sides didn't review it?
