Good to see Shabbir Ahmed back after his suspect action controversy that probably is the reason why he wasnt selected in Pakistan's Test team for their tour of Australia in 99/00.

Well that sort of thing by an Indian player would have drawn heavy criticism and there would have been calls to never allow him to play for India again. Saqlain is very lucky that no action is being taken against him

Top effort from Bangladesh. It seems that the Australia series did the opposite of what was expected. They're looking like a young Zimbabwe now.

now they have a performance or two, bangladesh have to keep their better batsmen in touch, bashar and sarker. if these two are consistant, maybe they can act like andy flower for bangladesh.:)

Doubtful. Andy Flower averaged over 50 in his Test career.

Actually, it may be possible... perhaps Bashar and Sarkar could have a cummulative average of 50+...:)

I cant understand how he can get away with it. He should be told your with us (playing for Pakistan) or not.

In all fairness to Saqlain, the selectors haven't exactly shown him the respect he deserves in recent times.

As expected, the Bangladeshi's were finished off early.

I'm looking forward to seeing Mohammad Hafeez bat - apparently he is an all-rounder with the blending of Hanif Mohammad with the bat and Saqlain Mushtaq with the ball.
