Defendable total? Given how much nip there is in the surface I think anything over 250 will see NZ with a good chance.
Yeah, I'd say so. It always depends which Tim Southee shows up, though.

Bangladesh can't compete in NZ conditions.
Must admit the confidence that Bangladesh wouldn't win a game was a little odd. They're just a competitive limited overs team now. Lose just as many limited overs games from lack of temperament than talent nowadays I reckon, even away from Bangladesh.

Will be interesting to see how they handle this situation.
Ronchi wicket was a gift but they need to capitalise now. He was going to take the game away from them imo.

He's had no time at the crease at all, in any of the matches, due to the way our side plays.

Broom has looked pretty good, although I think we're now pretty much safe at 200 runs, even Ferguson against this team on this wicket will be a handful.

Tanvir Haider! His name has changed to Tanbir Hayder now, but I remember asking AZH about him when he played that tour game vs England

Nice to see him in the ODI side. Not doing too bad

BD can defo chase 250-260, but I don't know what the conditions are like and Boulthee is a quality pace pairing in helpful conditions.

With Broom at the crease surely NZ are still favs. Interesting that the bookies disagree.

Don't see why the commentators are so impressed with him sweeping the seamer for 6 just then. His name is Broom after all.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
haha wonder if Rutherford's "specialist batsmen doing the job" rhetoric is directed at Doull's "let's play 3 all-rounders 4-6" thing.
