I was just about to post that I won't lose any sleep if Nicholls does fall short, I'm normally gutted to see any NZ'der dismissed in the 90s, but he kind of deserved to fall short there. Some justice.

Elliott's retired from internationals (wasn't test standard anyway) and Fulton has been tried a million times and just isn't up to it. Is also late 30s.

Brownlie and Broom should be in contention for the number 5 spot, as well as Guptill.
