Is bizarre, I've been a runner for my team 3 times this season and we haven't had a signle run out. Was out there for 17 overs one time as well. How can they not do it at International level?

He was playing with a runner after an Anderson yorker nailed him on the foot.

Thought he was being a bit of a fanny to be honest, although obviously that's easy to say when you're sitting at your desk watching someone else go through it.

He's got no natural feeling for fielding positions, his default position is containment (Banglas put 400+ on us in the 2nd test over there and he didn't give his seamers one measly slip; WAC) & he seems to have a personal grudge against Mahmudullah.

Awesome stuff from Strauss this. Already taken 14 off the first 4 deliveries of this over, that last boundary over cover was glorious. Really looking forward to seeing Bell against these boys, this is not a great bowling attack by any means. Making Kieswetter look pretty bad though, which says more about Kieswetter than the bowling.

Stupid run from Strauss. He's been calling Kieswetter through for some risky singles, and it was only a matter of time before he got himself, or Kieswetter out. Good innings from the skipper, but that was crazy running.

All seems a little perfunctory just now. Only thing we've learnt is that Kieswetter isn't maybe the best runner.

50 for Ian Bell. Not been as swashbuckling as some of his innings for Warwickshire, but after the start Strauss provided, this has been the perfect knock. Very well played.

Watching this with the sound down and music on tbh. Would be more interested if we were 5 or 6 wickets down, as it is it's just going to be another England win vs Bangladesh (the 20th in a row, or whatever)

Been a lovely knock from Bell this. Would have liked to have seen him express himself a bit more, like he's been doing for Warwickshire, but he's done the necessary job. Those shots off the spinner, where he skips down the track and chips over cover are just a joy to watch. He's definitely one of my favourite players in the world to watch.

Yeah, has always been a very handsome batsman to watch.

Cases in point there; drills one through the covers like a tracer bullet for four and hooks one off his nose next ball for another.

Would be nice to see England batting first in one of these ODIs. Just to see what they're like setting a total. They've been chasing down totals with overs to spare but always seem to lose wickets on a fairly regular basis.
