Players oppose draft.

Will players who are drafted earn enough to be pros? I can see not wanting to move in a draft selection and not earning enough being a legit complaint. If they will earn enough then maybe they just don't want live in places like Tasmania.

Debutant Alex Gregory batting slowing her with 5 overs to go. I think he's still developing as far as what kind of player he'll develop into. He's an all-rounder at 8 at the present but I feel from what I've heard of his batting he's definitely capable of moving up to 6-7 in the future. His leadership skills and maturity are very, very highly rated as U19 captain. (Fun fact: Went to the same primary school that produced Julia Gillard)

Do Victoria really have no one available that can replace Alex Keath? The guy has looked more of a walking wicket than Cosgrove so far this season.

More of a case of "now or never". Probably hasn't smashed the door down, but with his background they have to give him the opportunity to sink or swim before making a decision on him.
