not that a big fan of that. they're gone. move on. i'd rather attempt to steal promising players from other states. the biggest disappointment of the off-season was not that usman etc left, but that we replaced them with dawson, crickshank etc. it was a backward step, and so would be focusing on signing back usman, hughes etc.

nah stand by it. great we won. we're now...6th on the table. dawson now has a list a average of maybe 25? great! would have preferred to see patterson (or hughes batting above 6).

although that post was talking about giving them contracts full stop, and i agree with that too. not like we were signing someone like wes robinson. we were signing a guy who can't handle quick stuff (cruickshank) and a dude with a FC average of 20 and who got plenty of chances. pointless stuff from NSW. One of the guys NSW could have signed instead of 'em made 50 odd for tassie today...
