Geez Klinger looks good sometimes. Too bad he's 26, otherwise he'd be a decent future prospect for Australia. He'd have to be 30+ before he strung enough consistent seasons together to push for selection now, though.

NSW can't make the final now,no team has made the final after getting 4 losses other sides will have to play pretty bad for us to make it and we have to win our last 3 games.Our pace bowlers have been our weakness this year no pace bowler has stood up and led the way.

What's that got to do with it? If they tried to "slap the crap out of him" there is a fair chance he would have taken a couple of wickets, which in turn would have meant new batsmen and a drop in the run rate.
