But he'll still walk into the test side with a red carpet laid out.
Haha, what? For a start, the guy probably isn't going to make the test side in Brisbane due to Mitchell Johnson being picked instead, and secondly he averages less than 20 in test cricket. If he did make it, he'd be entirely deserving.

I'd say that it just makes for a more balanced bowling line-up to take 20 wickets with two spinners rather than one.
Personally i would have dropped Bollinger for Henriques. With Thronely and O'Brien in the side, we got some extra bowling. Looking at this pitch any extra runs down the order could be quite handy. Also can they drop Mail, in 1.2.3, need to blood some a youngster for this dead weight.

Clark is ten times the bowler Lewis, he is so crap he shouldn't be playing for Victoria anymore.
Lewis had his chance and blew it. He's not as bad as you say though. I think batsmen have just worked him out. It happens to many bowlers.

Clark is the most overrated Australian cricketer in recent memory. I honestly haven't seen him do anything special. Most his wickets are from batsman error due to pressure from the other end.

Having said that, wickets are wickets, I suppose. Doesn't matter how you get them in the big scheme of things.

Disagree, Clark bowled really well in South Africa and deserved the sucess that he got.

They would be better off playing another batsman ahead of either of them, Casson at 7 is the start of a long tail. Haddin getting out just before lunch leaves them only 30 ahead with the bowlers to come and Tait ripped the tail to shreds in the last game, I think they scored 8 runs between the 5 of them.

Hilfenhaus bowling well today. That ball to Hopes was a beauty.
Good to see him continue to impress, can see him playing in the National ODI squad sometime in the next 2 years. Noticed Haydos only managed to make 11, good bowling or poor batting?

Hilfenhaus is a class act. Tremendous accuracy for a bowler of his experience. Was a really flat deck today too.

Big wraps on Hilfenhaus. I'm a fan of this fella. Him and Johnson in the same team would be interesting!!

Anyone reckon we (South Australia) have a chance of defending 150 odd against NSW? Tait has just taken 2 wickets in the first over, both in-swinging balls. None of the batsman are yet to score.

Hope it gets exciting.

I'd say SA would be favourites to win after Gillespie just took two wickets (unlucky not to get a hat-trick).
