Maybe he is just getting rested, bowled a fair bit of overs for the redbacks so far, whoever said he bowls to short all the time isnt true IMO, and he has done nothing wrong in the field.

Disapointing from the Redbacks again, hate it when Hodge gets runs.

They are obviously confident in the draw so its a great opportunity to give Hazelwood a few overs.

Naa I'm certain it would have to be for the reason that Nath mentioned. Bowler for bowler in situations like that is the fairest way, it is a gentlemans game afterall.

Lambert has played as a bowler before. You could say its similar to say Noffke (assuming hes not in the side) replacing a WA bowler. The bowlers that bat a bit do complicate it, a batter for a bowler definitely is a no no.

Nice seeing Khawaja get a start, hope he can go on tomorrow. Also good chance for Smith and Rorher to make runs.

Nice to see Cam borgas in the runs for SA.

Hopefully, Cleary and Duval are back for the next sheild game on Sunday. I want to see the redbacks play up at the gabba and not the adelaide oval again.

Cosgrove has got a hamstring strain by the sounds of it. How long will that take to heal? atleast its not a tear.

It would be great if the captains come to a agreement and make NSW chase say 300 runs from 70 overs or so.

Agree. Unlikely though given the stage of the season, don't see Katich or North making the gamble just yet.

Good to see Khawaja making a 50. Good 100 by Katich, just a shame he could go on as we are facing a stiff battle getting to WA 1st innings total atm. Hope Smith makes some runs and Rorher continues his form.

Bowls reasonable right arm off-spin, and is a very enigmatic batsman. Super talented, but one day he might make 80 off 170, and then the next day he'll notch up 170 off 80.
