:(

Well done to Victoria played the better cricket..such a good 2020 team, not to dissapointed with the loss though its only 2020 cricket. atleast David Hussey failed :p

Putland bowled pretty well, bowled at some decent pace.

Great win. Victoria just too strong in the end, the South Australia chase was all over after four overs. South Australia lost the zip they had early in the tournament, whilst Victoria found the form of seasons past.

Word, was a bit disappointed. Redbacks missed Afridi something big.
Were definitely a batsman light. As much as I like Minigolf, when you've got a bloke coming in after Tait in the order......

Vic's too clinical with the ball for SA. O'Brien would have been a good shout for MOM had SA won but what he did, all Vic bowlers aside from Holland did just as well. Pattinson seems one of those bowlers who's a little more slippery than you think.

Pattinson actually reminds me quite a lot of Siddle from what I've seen of him.

Yep, SA were a batsman short, Klinger was the batsman. Coming in at 3, I would back him to perform better than Cooper 9 times out of 10.

Well done to the Vics, they've had to deal with quite a bit to win this year.

All Victorian bowlers are like Siddle. If there was a cartoon character called J. Random VicBowler, he'd be tall, quick, destroy teams in red and have a look on his face like he just ate your Mama and is hungry for more.

Would they all be better test batsmen than bowlers too?

Rookie, Michael Cranmer will play his first Redback’s match of the season replacing Mark Cosgrove, whose wrist has failed to heal sufficiently for selection.

Mark Sorell spoke at Adelaide airport yesterday prior to the Redbacks departure for Sydney.

“We’re now getting fired up for the second half of our season, Sorell said.

“We still have four games remaining in the Ford Ranger Cup competition so we need to keep moving forward to improve our standing in the one day format.

“There aren’t any huge changes for the group, which maintains a bit of stability."

The Redbacks are currently five points behind the fifth placed Blues on the table.

West End Redbacks v RTA Speedblitz Blues
Tuesday 26 January, North Dalton Park, Wollongong

Graham Manou
Cameron Borgas
Daniel Christian
Tom Cooper
Michael Cranmer
Chris Duval
Jake Haberfield
Daniel Harris
Michael Klinger
Aaron O'Brien
Matthew Weeks
Shaun Tait

In: Michael Cranmer
Out: Mark Cosgrove (wrist injury)

Don't think Cosgrove's injury is to serious he was in pain the other night but he could bat, he should be back next game. Might be a tough game for the Redbacks tommorow especially if bloody Warner gets off to a flyer with a flat pitch with the short boundaries at North Dalton Oval.

Cranmer making his debut, he is a pure allrounder if I can remember, who bowls Meduim Fast, think he was captain for the U19's last year to. Hope he does well.

Was hoping Putland was in the squad but oh well, go the redbacks!

And now a wicket! Get him in the OD team asap

Terrific fightback by the Blues after a shocking start. Don't think Jaques has played one good innings in the coloured clothes this season :(

re foxtel. Might have something to with the OD match and this match being in Wollongong

I think there's a good chance I could perform better for NSW than Grant Lambert does. Game over, unless massive collapse happens.

Go the redbacks, good win. Really stuck at it and didn't do what SA usually do and just collaspe.

Klinger looks in real good touch at the moment, hes going to have a big 2nd half season I reckon, SACA actually did something right in not playing him in the 2020.

Great to see Christian with a great knock aswell, hes a better batsmen then he is a bowler but some people don't recognise it. Theres still some stupid shots from the players though, Cooper has been the main culprit, Borgas needs to stop trying to guide it to 3rd man all the time aswell.

Bowling was okay, Tait did well ripping in at the start but still ended up with crappish figures. Good to see Putland in the side bowling well ( Haberfield did to ). I was suprised because SACA released the squad for this FRC game a couple of days ago and Putland wasn't in it and Duval was. Cullen Bailey was listed as 12th man and he wasn't in the squad either. Cleary wasn't either which was wierd but he didn't play.

Thought Manou ( whos had a terrible season with the bat ) should of bowled Cranmer, otherwise theres no point in playing him, might aswell play Cleary whos a good bowler but can bat abit aswell instead of Cranmner. Cossie should be next game though.
