Tait bowling with some hustle tonight.

Better lineup for Tasmania tonight. Don't have an issue with batsman 7,8,9 and 10 being Naved, Geeves, Faulkner and Krejza. How many batsman have that much of an impact from number seven anyway? It is a spot that would likely go to some young-kid who would have as much chance of performing a blinding innings as any of the above names.

Pretty entertaining night of cricket. Love Rana so it was awesome seeing him get a hat trick, Tait's first two overs were rapidddd, some awesome hitting (reckon the first 6 Geeves launched off Tait is still headed west), great pieces of fielding, massive massive collapse by SA and fightback to win. :)

Loved it when Faulkner bounced Tait then had to face him later. Nearly ended up in the square-leg umpire's lap. Lesson learnt hopefully.

Worst case scenario now is whatever IPL franchise that gets Pollard doing really well and keeping him for the CL (or T&T making it again). As much as I'm enjoying this SA success, I really place credit for these wins on Afridi and Pollards' shoulders. And Tait. Sloon really in his element, bowling fit, fast and ferocious.

Tait looks in super form again, good thing is he seems to be adapting to the conditions and match situation. Against the Vics his outswingers destroyed them while last night getting his three wickets with bouncers as also good to see.

Adding good depth to our squad is a key part of their influence. I guess it's catch 22 but a bit of pressure is taken off our local players as the imports can produce a match winning performance should Cossie etc. fail. Playing with gay abandon obviously being a key for T20. Perhaps on the other hand you could consider players now leave it to someone else.

Bring on the final!!

Yeah the final at Adelaide Oval is on 23 January and the ODI v Pakistan is on Australia Day, 26 January, so only a two day gap, it's going to be hectic. The ODI against West Indies at Adelaide Oval is on 9 February.
