Possibly the worst dismissal I've ever seen. First over and Dougeh's bowled a few reasonable nuts, but nothing unplayable. For the last ball of the over he comes around the wicket and digs one in, but it was a bit of a nothing ball, too wide outside off to be a worry - easy leave.

But Handscomb throws the stick at it like he can't decide if he wants to cut past point, or up and under over slips and basically does both. An up and under to point. 6th ball of the innings, 200 odd behind, light not the best and on 0. Just diabolical cricket.

5 ducks and 1 in 6 dismissals. And now a run out.

There must be some serious disharmony in the camp or something because this ain't a fair dinkum effort. Bl00s have a great attack, but it ain't that good and the pitch sure ain't a minefield.

I hope the blues get McKay here. Maxwell deserves red ink. With a last man out 94 and scoring a ton from 8 coming in at 6/9 seriously he should get MoTM. Stupid innings where he could throw the stick because he had nothing to lose, but not many better in that situation. A couple more overs here and he could force us to bat again which is just daft.

Finally. Shame, but well played Maxwell.

Still a huge win for the Bluebaggers and all true cricket fans should be happy about that.

Maxwell has some serious talent. Would be a great shame if he didn't have a decent test career. Is the perfect no 6.

Don't think anyone doubts his talent. Ridiculous ability to hit shots where the textbook says they shouldn't go. But he needs to bat up the order for Vic and prove he can score when they matter not just when he can have a free swing because he's batting with the bunnies. White should at least move up to 3 (if not open) and Maxwell should go to 4. He makes a good go of that then Test No.6 would be right up his street in a few years time.
