I had it given to me as a Christmas or birthday present from a family member. I actually applaud the "get Rob a random cricket book" gift idea in general so I'm not going to complain, but yeah it's a really cringe-worthy read. I definitely got a lot further than Benchy but I don't think I bothered reading it all either.

My only thoughts on Duffield are that he looks to have a bit of potential and as Behrendorff seems to bowl absolute tripe every time I watch him, I prefer the former

Duffield's been on the outer for a fair while, since he put 18kgs on in the three months between the end of the season and the start of pre-season when he had his first decent season.

Wade was gardening, and doing a lot of tapping around a big crack, and eventually the ground sort of collapsed, creating the valley that they referred to. Umpires at the time weren't too bothered, told Wade not to do any more gardening; then at the end of the day (or maybe the game), Match Referee wanted something done about it.

Oh that's right. Solomon Mire. Have you seen him play much? It's really surprised me how seemingly close he is to professional cricket in Australia given the sort of cricketer he was in Zimbabwe, especially after actually seeing him play some limited overs domestic stuff on South African TV. Is he improving a lot due to the better coaching and facilities available or something?
