if SoK does come in at 7 and they've picked him as the allrounder then surely Guru is a better bowling option than Copeland
Nah, I'd take Copes as at least his equal as a bowler and way better bat. We're skinny on batting but I can't see how Sandhu improves an attack of Bollinger, Hazlewood, Copeland, Lyon and O'Keefe

Copeland will bat ahead of O'Keefe i reckon; he was at the end of last season.

Even if he doesn't though, there's no way I'm comfortable with having Sandhu at 8 if Carters and O'Keefe are at 6 and 7. If you can't wedge a bowling allrounder in at 7 between an inexperienced keeper at 6 and a bowler getting nosebleeds at 8. It only really works if you have another allrounder at 8.

I know Butters has a great record opening the bowling but I would have thought that Rainbird will come on very shortly as he has that extra pace which can help at the beginning of a game. I said this the other day but with Test players Warner and Clarke in the top 5 I don't mind this lineup at all for NSW. It is only when they get replaced by Dawson and Patterson or something that this tactic doesn't work.

Cheers Riggins about Glenelg cameras.

I don't mind this lineup so much. It should definitely be our bowling-heavy option though; the twelve annoyed me a lot more than the eleven does. The alternative option for the captain on game day was to weaken this batting lineup further; that shouldn't really be the case.

Once the Tests start you'll still see something similar with Fui, SOK and Copes likely to be 7,8 and 9 (assuming Nev is back and batting above Moises). The selections for the QLD game (I think) where all the ODI boys are also back will be fun. (Get your money on the Bulls for that one n0000000000000000fers - Blues at full strength = ****).

And yeah having Copeland at 7 will definitely annoy me once Henriques is in the top 6. If Henriques is fit to bowl then he's the fifth bowler and #7 should be the wicket keeper, Henriques himself or someone picked on batting alone.

Yeah fair enough bois.

Can anyone get access to the QLD game official stream? I probably wont even bother with it and just watch Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls!

I don't think our batting strength would allow anything other than Nev/Fui at 6/7 and SOK/Copes at 8/9. Maddo, Rohrer and Patterson get three of the top 5 spots with Henry, Dawson, Carters and the rest fighting out the other two, but it's pretty sick looking at that stage assuming Clarke, Warner, Watson, Hadds and Smitteh are all on international duties.

Video stream currently unavailable for the Vic v WA game, and nothing from Blacktown. Dire.

Nah, never under-estimate the NSW selectors' will to not pick enough batsmen. I can definitely see them bringing Henriques in for a departing batsman and leaving the bowling attack basically as is, giving us something like:

1 Henry
2 Maddinson
3 Rohrer
4 Henriques
5 Patterson
6 Nevill
7 Copeland
8 O'Keefe
9 Sandhu
10 Hazelwood
11 Bollinger

I've got no gripe with the Copeland/O'Keefe 7/8 combo for this game with Henriques not playing, but I'll throw things if and when we pick six bowlers.

Ha, I can see that happening, but with Nev in the top 3.:sick::sick::sick:

I suppose it will depend on if Copes is averaging 35 like he did last year and in England.

I know it's only the first hour of the season, but I'm preparing myself to be underwhelmed by Maddinson again.
