I just having a feeling he will be intent on surviving rather than looking to score. All guess work though, only way to know is to see him open.Usman is smashing around Walter so far he's made 24 runs off 17 balls bowled by him.
Sylvester, I think everyone who supports Aus, would prefer to see Huss bat like he did in the second Test over the first Test, I see no reason why he couldn't rotate the strike opening though.
I'm all for playing a young guy like Khawaja in the Ashes. Gives the team a bit of an x-factor.You couldn't pick Hughes now, he averaged 14 & didn't pass 40 in his three county matches with Hampshire & scored 33 runs in two one day matches with them & has done nothing in the two matches played here, seems like he's in a form slump, though I haven't seen him play any of those matches.
I'd play Rogers for the Ashes if Katich thumb rules him out, though Usman will probably score a big hundred, that might tip things his way.
Hussey in getting out early to spinner shock.Haha, O'Brien the destroyer. Hussey gets a golden.
Well if Katich doesn't end up playing, two new batsmen might come into the equation. Especially if Hussey continues scoring golden ducks. God knows what will happen if North fails pre-ashes aswell. That could mean 3 new batsmen.Perhaps but Rogers must have a lot of experience against the English bowlers given how much county cricket he plays, seems appropriate, as much as I want Khawaja in the team.
60 more the Huss, vivaUsman out for 60
