You'll Never Walk Alone
This Richardson bloke looks about 12.

EDIT: Fair go, he's only 17. Harwood giving him a mouthful.

Siddle has returned today in the FR match against SA.

Looking forward to seeing how he bowls, also how Ferguson bats now that he's in the Aussie squad.
Siddle bowled okay for his comeback game, but looked in bit of pain during his second spell though, which really isn't a good sign for the SA tour.

Ferguson was excellent today, with wickets falling regularly at the other end it was great to see him show patience and try to build partnerships and at the same time put the bad balls away.

I think everybody already knew that he can bat, but this season it been great to see him actually going onto score some runs, it would be interesting to see who plays in the final XI for the 2nd ODI, Voges or Ferguson, because its pretty much a given that White would play in the next game.

Unless they want to completely shuffle the batting around, then Ferguson your best bet slotting in at No 3. Though they could go with a top four of (Warner, Haddin, Clarke, Dussey) and play Voges at 6.

Haddin is not an opener.
Unless Hussey is sent up the order to open there isn’t much else. Although, Hopes does a mean impression of a 1990s pinch hitter and along with Warner you’re got a recipe for being two wickets done for nothing there. Haddin wouldn’t be that bad but he seems play only two ways in ODI cricket, block or slog.

Ferguson would have secured his spot for Friday, you'd imagine.

Don't see why they wouldn't play McGain, get a few international games under his belt.

Because McGain was involved in a domestic with Hilditch's wife.

Harwood continues to bowl well. He intimidated the players big time today. I was impressed by Fergusons knock but not that way in which O'brien and DC got out, we could have posted 220-240 if they had not thrown their wickets away.

As for the bowling an inexpereinced lineup vs a quality Vic team could mean only one thing, a pretty easy run chase with McDonald playing well for a good 50*.

I seriously love Stickers Harwood, plays with so much passion and aggression and even at 35 is still going pretty strong, i loved the way ruffled up the bloke on debut, shame he couldn't play for Australia though, anyways would be great to see him get to play with some IPL franchise.

Anyways, during the game heard the commentators talking about Cullen Bailey picking up some wickets for South Australia 2nd XI or something, should this be taken as a positive sign, because judging by Bailey's figures from last season both for 1st and 2nd XI sides, this seems to be a bit of an improvement.

Nah.. you mark my words, Voges would play ahead of Ferguson on Friday.

I agree McGain, or for that matter any decent spinner should be playing for Australia in the ODI games, the Aussie bowling in the middle overs is too predicable, and one-paced to really trouble the opposition, and a spinner could help change that, my top 3 picks for the ODI spinners job would be Haurtiz, McGain or Doherty.
