Rudi called not out very early but replays showed it was hitting. Lucky for Ponting!

Replays showed it was just clipping the top mate, it wasn't a grubber that was taking out all three stumps. Would've looked quite high to Rudi I'd imagine.

He was not offering a shot! I play hardball cricket as well...i know that if you are shouldering arms and hits up front it is gone! i don't know how they keep on bending the rules.

Ponting will go down as a great but his eyes arent as good as they used to be and he can't fall back on a brilliant technique -just looks so dodgy early on nowadays

Having said that, he'll probably get 200
