People love hating on Paine too much IMO. Didn't watch the innings but according to Cricinfo, he got a single from a good yorker, a leg bye from a ball on the pads, a dot ball attempting a scoop shot when chasing ~15 an over and then cleaned up by a inswinging yorker.
Hardly like it was "block, block, smashed to cover, block"

Aside form the really, really good bowling, we lost this in the middle overs, things were going really well and they inexplicably just shut up shop. Had to keep on attacking, not sure why they just stopped.

Just about the perfect T20 match. Or about as close to it.

Could have used a closer finish, but I reckon the pitch and outfield was pretty spot on.

This is soo good..

I am breaking in to tears here..

all those months of losing and giving away games to them..

I know this is not or no where the same as that semi final.. but win is a win..damnate.. specially against Aus..after 13 games of losing to them..

How big was the crowd?
About 13000, not bad at all for a Monday night. I'm not sure what capacity is, you could see quite a big part of the ground was a construction site.

It will be interesting to see if more people turn up tomorrow since it was such a good match.
