Henry bowls some gorgeous hitting balls at the death, doesn't he. Almost the perfect bowler for a decent bat to clear his front hip and just launch.

I just hope this alongside his performance in the tests breaks the "Matt Henry is a decent bowler" club - he's one dimensional, he's good when the ball is new and that's about it.

I think he's still got his place on spicy wickets, but opening or bowling first change. not anywhere after the 35th over until he develops some variations he can be confident in. Just running in bowling length all between 133-140 kms is exactly what teams hitting towards the end dream of facing.

ACB should really schedule more matches against the NZers... we're great at getting your out of form, debutants and scratchy form players into some great form.

Did it with Khawaja and Starc last year for you, doing it nicely with Head, Warner and Marsh this year.
