I think this is too much for this Aus middle order. Can't see any of them doing what Russell did there with the way this deck is.

Wade timed the ****ing ears off it here. He and Russell batting on a different deck to everyone else. He needed to bat til about the 15th for Aus to win this imho.

Yeah he's always been a decent LO batsman tbf. Just a shame he's been made of glass when he's looked like going on a decent run of form. Probably a good selection to whack him in at three as he starts decently vs pace, and once he's in, bowling darts at him as is the way in this format doesn't really bother him much.

Not sure what to do with this line up once some others are back. Have said before I don't care if TPC never plays T20 again, but if he does he has to bat three. Then there's Warner as well. I wonder whether Finch might drop down to 4 or 5 in the WC, because TBH Wade is very good opening up in T20s for the most part.

I can't think of too many blokes who've had as many chances Agar who have continually turned out mediocre dross on almost every occasion. Dunno why he keeps getting picked.
