How long before Green jumps ahead of Stoinis?

Just don't rate the bloke
Hard to say honestly. His List-A bowling really didn't seem up to scratch when we toured pak and I don't know how confident the selector's would be in picking a side with maxi as the 5th bowler and no other genuine options. Green strikes me as having the same issues stoin does tbf, lacks scoring shot's to the spinners, generally relies on them dropping short so he can rock back and pull or cut.

Maybe but Green is still a far superior batsman. Stoinis just doesn't look good to me as a batsman. Think they want to get the best out of Green in tests which is the only reason I can think of that limits his involvement in lo cricket

yeah thats the crux i suppose you'd really not want green missing a home summer because he got hurt in some jamodi against sri lanka

They likely see Stoinis as more of a finisher, with both bat and ball, than Green. Personally I'm not convinced that Stoinis is better than Green at any given role

Hasaranga should bowl the 2nd over for me it vital Sri lanka break the opening partnership rather than giving them a cheap 25 runs then him coming on, the Australia middle order is not really the best.

okay fair enough you dont want to give hasaranga 2nd over, but the bowling been appalling so far give finch easy tee of balls through the off side.
