Was about to say if green is gonna continue to bat 6 would rather see him be 20(30 ) than 20(80). Looks much better when he's positive.

Still remember those 6's vs india in the pink-ball test. Was really impressive hitting from a guy with basically no white ball experience at the time.

Not a massive fan of it generally, but the reverse sweep is such a cool thing in the way it’s gone from being an oddity to just an accepted shot these days. If you got out playing it about ten-15 years ago you’d cop the biggest razzing ever and be treated like a freak for playing it in a test, but nowadays it’s not really seen any as any different to getting out caught at fine leg.

Carey has dead set taken a broom out there to bat and the bowlers/captain have tried *checks notes* absolutely nothing to counter this.

This is exactly how you want an allrounder at six to play imo. Great to see him being backed in to bat like it and to have the stones to do it too
