Not like I’ve watched a ton of Kuggeleijn tbf, but does he look a bit more round arm and less explosive in his action than the ‘touching 150 in T20s’ version of 4 or 5 years ago? On top of everything else wrong with the selection, he sort of looks to have started to physically decline slightly?

Opening the bowling with Southee and then going to Kruegerline just allows Australia off the hook at one end. Sears and Henry were interviewed last night about how they’d put Australia under pressure, the TV pundits talked about the need for more of the same from ball one this morning, and Captain Dopey lets them off the hook.
