Yeah, absolutely nothing productive can come out of not playing Lyon. Is it really true that having a look at the seamer who is effectively seventh in line is more important than seeing if Lyon can claim the #1 specialist spinner's spot before the World Cup?

The only logic I can see to it is that they're prioritising winning this game first and foremost -- which is something I can absolutely get behind, but it's at odds with the initial selection of the squad in the first place.
