I'm glad england won the toss and bowled, dont think we would have made 250 if we'd had to bat first.
I expected our bowlers to use the conditions better especially potts on his home ground. If brook plays
like that evry time rather than just the buccaneer showoff, well we might not have lost the last test
among others. Think Archer might need a rest from oz batters.

Toss decided the game there, unfortunate for all involved

Wonder if Inglis has thrown away his ODI spot by calling in sick

Looking good for getting a game in tomorrow, not going to be very warm though

Sunday looks touch and go so the Aussies might yet sneak a draw

Tonight's game the first one back at Lord's since the famous Bairstow stumping. Inglis now fit apparently but sorry Josh, Carey has to play 😀

Wouldn't mind seeing one of inglis and/or mcgurk in the top 3 today. Head and marsh have both had a few innings and we know there solid come champions trophy. Lets use these last 2 games to get backups sorted.

Maybe win the series first 😉

It is absolutely tipping it down right now in London. It is supposed to get better in a few hours time but it would take something for them to start on time, I think.

Australia lead 2-0, then England unexpectedly claw back one to go 2-1 with 2 to go?

Where have I seen this before, seems familiar, sensing a N/R in 4th match 😆

This was far more unexpected than last year. At least those Tests were close, there was little to suggest this ODI outfit was going to suddenly win a game.

Phil not having a great time in the 50 over game of late.
I'm wondering how many more chances Salt will get? If Root was allowed to play he'd bat 3 with Jacks to open who has done more than Salt so far in this series.

Salt deffo needs a score today, although I suspect that whoever has to bat first will be at a distinct disadvantage.

The good old English weather putting a dampener on proceedings again., playing games there in late September was just asking for trouble though.
