***Official*** Australia in South Africa

Just thinking about how every wicket in these dying stages affects the D/L target.
Nah wickets at this stage don't change it at all, because Australia knew how many overs they had to bat when they lost them. Wickets before the rain interruption would've changed it though obviously.

223 is the unofficial target. Leaning towards thinking that's on the generous side for the Australians.
Nah, need to bear in mind that for 19 of their 29 overs Australia would've batted on the assumption that it was 50 overs a side.

Delightful square drive from Amla. Not too full or too wide and he's wristed it dead square between two fielders.

I said it during the T20 and it's still true - AB missing leaves a huge hole in this middle order. Looking dire for the South Africans.

4 and out for Duminy. J-P caught in two minds and ends up running it behind off the face whilst trying to leave it. Think young Jumbo's pace unsettling the saffers.

Jeez, Amla edges a very wide and floaty ball from Marsh. Kick yourself hard, beardy.

Saffers in the brown stuff.

Who's on comms? So much blatant wrongness, from saying Cummins and Duminy will likely face each other in the Tests to saying this is Marsh's first over in internationals.

Less than impressed by Marsh's bowling so far. Nothing particularly threatening and a whiff of grapeshot about it too.

Erm... isn't it out when the batsman hits it and the fielder catches it?

Edit: Yes, it is. Weirdness defeated.

Also, so are SA.

Hmm.

Inclined to agree with D'Oherty there, if not sliding down then far more marginal that Hawkeye suggested.

Good review tho, I suppose.
