Its been one debacle after another for 2 years now. Its just infuriating knowing the young talent that should be getting a go, and the guys like Bollinger who just would not bowl as crap as Johnson EVER. I don't see how the batting keeps surviving after so many truly dire collapses.

You think that's really gonna make things better..!? If making sweeping changes improved a side's fortunes then we would have been the undisputed best side in the world right now but that apparently ain't the case.

turned my (x) off. what did he say
Cricinfo excerpt

"An interesting three days ... without doubt we let ourselves down with the bat. Full credit to South Africa, for how they bowled and the way they played today. We might have needed 600 ... We played disgraceful shots. Horrendous shot selection. We let ourselves down with the ball ... there was enough in the pitch during the whole game, we got rolled for 47 when the sun was shining. No excuses. It (his century in the first innings) was useless, a waste of time. A hundred is useful only if you help your team win. I'll forget about that pretty quickly."
He "sounded" worse. Kinda painful to listen to.

my respect for pup just went up tenfold. didn't mince his words....horrendous, useless etc. it's his team now and he's the boss. no two ways about it.

the next match would be the last chance saloon for punter, hughes, mitch and haddin, methinks. and perhaps siddle.
