***Official*** Australia in South Africa

That shows how strong NSW are. All of those players are pushing for test selection.
Well Cummins isn't. Watson and Hauritz largely have QLD to thank for their development and Hussey is a WACA boy.

Still, there are a few decent players in your list :)

It seems as though the South African rugby team has taken lessons from the cricket team in the fine art of choking spectacularly.

It's a mental thing with Australia. I reckon South Africa would still find a way to lose if Australia had got a bit confused and sent their rugby team to South Africa and their cricketers to New Zealand this week.

Reckon Mussey would have done better than Quade Cooper tbh

Out of their past 5 confrontations, boks had one only once, they were clearly rated as underdogs coming into the tournament, so how the **** was it a choke. Does every match you lose in knock-out stage make you a choker?

It does when you're South Africa :p

So much better than any other at any sport that losing equates to chocking, or match fixing. Obvz.

Soth africa were favourites to win. On top of that, they dominated the game but somehow failed to win....
This. Tackle count ratio was 3:1 and South Africa dominated every statistic other than the one stat that really matters.

Better team losing happens often though, doesn't make it a choke. Would have been a choke if they were in a winning position and gave it away.

Looks like all we need is hero in Australian cricket. Probably Mr. Cricket is the only fan favourite remaining in the test team, Punter loses out on form + career baggage.

We all need another hero - Dean Jones - The Age

Peter Siddle is going along beautifully. People worry about whether he swings it enough. My opinion is that he cannot bowl enough deliveries in a shoe box outside off stump and maintain pressure on quality batsmen. Just bowl fast and straight. A reminder to all: 80 per cent of deliveries in Test cricket go straight, no matter what the commentators say. This tour is a big one for him if he wants to maintain the title, ''Peter Siddle; opening bowler for Australia''.

Depends on your definition but, for me, a clear favourite being on top in every statistic but the big one on the scoreboard at the end of the game = choke.

Could be worse, could play for a draw because that will put you through until you read the rules and discover you've ****ed up after the game where you've celebrated a draw.
