Oh well.AB out for 4-6 weeks apparently after having surgery. Touch and go for the tests.
I guess I should at least be glad he is playing in the tests hopefully.

Yea, you gotta wade through 2 T20s and 3 ODIs first though, all for two measly tests.Need a fast forward button, the SL tests just got me warmed up, can't stomach this t20 rubbish, hurry up SA tour!
I'll settle for a few ODI's, like rob said this CL trash is horrible.Yea, you gotta wade through 2 T20s and 3 ODIs first though, all for two measly tests.
Totally agree, can't wait till this series starts. Sucks not having any England tests to watch till the new year so this series will be watched far more intently now.Yep stuff this CL garbage.
It would be good if it was that simple hey, they'd just be like; were having a game of cricket on these days (x-x,x-x) so everyone else sort your crap out around that if you want to be apart of itI just hate the gaps between the fixtures.
With the T20s finishing on 16 October, instead of playing the ODIs on 19, 23 and 28 it would be nice if the games were on 19, 21 and 23. 4 days in between a one day match is too many in such a short series.
The match against South Africa A could be 25-28 with the First Test starting on October 2nd instead of the 9th.
Being a week ahead means a 3rd Test could take place finishing the tour say 1 day later than the current schedule.
For **** sake"In the end, I couldn't handle it and I didn't go out of my apartment for about three weeks, apart from seeing Victor ... I cried quite a bit. I felt like I was just about at the end of it, especially as an all-rounder.
So do you think he's saying that there's no place for Johan Botha, or Robin Peterson, considering it's the latter whose bowling worked well at the World Cup?Hudson said that the ODI squad just needed a few tweaks after the World Cup campaign. “We will probably go in with seven batsmen, including Boucher at No. 7, and we have kept all our bowling options that worked well at the World Cup.
“We will be able to go in with four specialist bowlers plus the back-up of Kallis, JP Duminy and Faf du Plessis.”
Reckon they will bring Boucher and Tsotsobe in for Botha and Peterson. Remember these are early season pitches, however last time Australia came to South Africa (admitidly in March/April) it was the spinners, Botha and Van der Merwe, that caused all the problems. I reckon they could go either way.So do you think he's saying that there's no place for Johan Botha, or Robin Peterson, considering it's the latter whose bowling worked well at the World Cup?
Or, I wonder if they'll dump both and just play the one specialist spinner in Tahir. If they do, then the comment about the World Cup bowlers seems rather besides the point.
