Watching the extended highlights and by far the best thing from this game was renowned Tory boot licker Josh Inglis failing yet again.

I understand the WC is around the corner but most of the South Africans that didn’t feature have been playing relentlessly no-consequence cricket for months, they would play in the wetlands across me tomorrow if paid enough, the national side hasn’t played cricket for God knows how long and they are skipping these games because of what exactly?
Springboks have a WC in a couple of weeks as well, and they were not taking the piss last week against New Zealand.

edit: just a case of "he's already here, just add him to the squad it won't cost us any airfares"

Gotta agree with PEWS on this. If where actually using this series as WC prep then we should have a similiar lineup to the actual wc, and in that case maxwell bats #7 as a batting allrounder. David is honestly the best guy we have to fill that spot at the moment if maxwell isn't fit. Stoinis isn't making enough runs to demand a spot, and Inglis in that spot means we lose a bowling option.

Sangha gonna make a 175 ball red ink ton in a losing side while making no attempt to chase the target. Kid has form.
