Only a joke sport would try to stop ticket paying fans from making noise. In no other sport on the planet earth does that happen. Test cricket is an utter farce now.

Are we going to ban the Barmy Army now? They don't stop singing as the bowlers runs in. How about we cap attendances at 15k now, since I'm not sure there's a "don't cheer when the bowler is running in" rule anywhere and we wouldn't want the poor umps to get distracted by all that noise?

It was a better ball on replay than I thought when I first saw it tbf, so it is a bit of an overstatement. He's survived plenty of balls of that quality when play wasn't being stopped though

Debut asked to open on a sticky wicket in NZL
Lord's was spinning like a top & our team lacked leadership
Manchester ? But team wasn't functioning well at that stage. Can't remember specific match conditions.
Then Durban had its testing issues coming in when it was reversing and spinning.

Testing time to bat here again.

Nah like he wants to bring attention to the fact that there is a band playing loud music out there which might affect his incorrect decision making but he low key wants them to stay and continue making more noise.

This reasoning sounded much better in my head lol
