Yeah I don't expect India to get closer to an away series win from the subcontinent in my lifetime. Apart from England 2007 of course, but we've more than made up for that with the subsequent thrashings over there.Which made the fact that we let it slip away in Capetown that much worse. Would've been a legendary series win
I don't think I've hated a sportsman's press conference more than when I saw Dhoni's after that 3rd test. We drew a test we should've won to complete a historic series win and all Dhoni said was that he was "satisfied with a drawn series", and on the other hand you had Graeme Smith, (whose team were barely hanging on when Boucher came in to join Kallis), say that he was extremely disappinted they couldn't pull off a win. Just summed up the situation perfectly. I could only laugh
I guess Windies doesn't count.Yeah I don't expect India to get closer to an away series win from the subcontinent in my lifetime. Apart from England 2007 of course, but we've more than made up for that with the subsequent thrashings over there.
Oh yeah totally forgot about them. No they don't.I guess Windies doesn't count.
I don't think we'll win a 4-5 match series overseas against good opposition for a long, long time. If only the last England tour was 2 matches..
Could've won in NZ tbf. The only difference between the teams was two ridiculous McCullum innings. If Boult and Southee continue being rubbish, we could have a chance. Not likely though.I guess Windies doesn't count.
