Pretty sure he means Dave Hussey.
Well unless there's an un-retired guy by the name of Katich or Hodge running around the Sheffield Shield, then my point still holds.

And the insanity of picking David Hussey now would only be exceeded by picking him now to go to South Africa. He'd get eaten alive. And I say this as a guy who was a massive fan of the bloke. 3 or 4 years ago, it might have been worth a crack. Now, nope.

No-one would disagree with you

However, when you consider that Dussey's fc returns (both this season and over the past 3) far exceed Marsh', it just goes to show how ludicrous this selection is

The embarrasing thing is Dave Hussey has scored more Shield runs at a better average than Marsh this season.

If Marsh ends up makin me taste it will be the biggest piece of arse ever. It will make Johnson's transformation look like a minor tweak to his grip. It could happen, but the odds are so far stacked against it I reckon the only tastin I'll be doing is the sweet sweet taste of vindication. Marsh will contribute less than Bailers did in the Ashes.

I'm an unabashed Graeme Smith fan, love the bloke. Ugly as sin to watch bat but is such a smart batsman that he has trolled every single bowling attack in work cricket into bowling into his zones.

Having said that, I think we will see something significant in this series. If Australia continue on their trend of being very diligent with their bowling plans and some how have prolonged success against Smith in a similar way throughout the series this may be the final test series the skipper plays.

Big call but I can see it being possible.

I said it could be his last series if somehow the Australians find a way to consistently get him out in the same way.
Love it

Sometimes I think he deliberately got out to Hoggard cheaply a few times in a row just to set up the rest of his career.
