The guys an absolute legend, can't say enough good about him.
Captaincy however still not sure, lets not forget he has squandered 2 tests lately, 4th test Sydney and 2nd test here.
Although to be fair these decisions are partly management decided as as well.
The rain beat Aus in Sydney ffs.

Obviously happy to see some reward for a lot of ****ing hard work with bat and ball this series. The Pillow wa a fantastic - Grand Hyatt level rather than standard Tontine. Everyone really chipped in. The advent of Green as a viable third seamer in spinning conditions adds a whole new dimension to this side tbh

Very glad I was wrong. Excellent work from Australia.

And boy it feels good to win in Asia for once! Man have we improved there.

Bowled a couple of ripper spells in the second Test without reward and was unlucky with drops, but yeah he was total trash in the third and Cummins lost all faith in him.

I reckon they'll keep him in the squad but Agar is gonna be ahead of him now which I think is unfortunate unless it's gonna rag.

I still think there's a Test bowler there. At risk of sounding totally nuts I kind of agreed with slippy about his trajectory. He looks a lot better when he gets it above the eyeline but it seemed so rare this series. That wasn't the case in the Shield, so I wonder if coaches have got inside his head telling him SC Test bats use their feet too well to tease them like that more than once every four overs.
Zampa got a lot of backing in a different format before he became a gun all round white ball spinner. Maybe he could do it in this format too.
Swepson looked to be getting into rhythm before lunch today which I felt came at the wrong time for him.

Much rather just throw tanveer sangha to the wolves then pick zampa, looks far better then zampa ever has in his short shield career so far.

Good to see Test Cricket back in Pakistan, and well done Australia (you gits).
Test cricket has been back in Pakistan quite a bit already but good to see Australia back...and good to see them pick up a very credible away win.

My fandom of Lyon is justified, coupled with just how good Babar, Rizwan and Shaheen are and just how good they can be. Naseem Shah showed us that he truly has potential to be a world class pace bowler, the Pakistani opening looks good but they lack a world class middle order....Azhar ahem...not to mention a world class spinner. Maybe Shadab to return?

Australia have shown why Khawaja is required right now and just how good Cummins and Starc are with the old ball...well ahem here too...with Carey showing he is a handy keeper and that Marnus and Smith are very important in the middle order.

It's been a pretty darn good series from second test on and it shows us what both teams are good at and where both teams need to grow.
