That is one very very very creaky handle.

Taking their sweet time, aren't they?

Oh, it's out? Meh, don't think it will really matter.

****, that was poor. No evidence to suggest Southee hit the ball. Looks like clear daylight and nothing on HotSpot.

Well there was a certain noise there. I agree though I thought the daylight shot would've been conclusive enough to give not out... obviously Aleem Dar disagrees.

However I've seen - Hotspot doesn't pick up faint edges, ever.

What a horrible display of batting this morning. The bowlers did nothing more than place the ball in good areas and just waited for the batsman to pick a mode of dismisal.

Pleased to see Harris bowl well. If anyone could have seen him 3-4 years ago, he has improved so much.

:laugh::laugh: at NZ test team, tbh.

Just ****ing dire. No teeth in the bowling attack, no guts in the batting lineup.

Really just at the stage where I just laugh now.

Come on, even we're better than this. You lose one man-Ryder-from the line up and you perform like this.

Geez, even against Pakistan we were better and they were a decent bowling line up. We didn't have Ryder then either.

Wish Franklin would ****ing remember how to ****ing bowl. Him at eight means we can keep our second best batsman up the order.

Bowling is scary. They're all the same. Its not lack of pace, its the reliance on banging it in looking for seam movement that worries me. Southee doesn't seem to swing it anymore. what we would do to have Andy McKay swinging it at 135-145 to add some bloody variation I don't know.

Anyway, Watling seems more confident here.

This is a really really flat pitch. We're bowling well but there really is zero in it. Maybe a bit later we'll see Hauritz extract some more turn.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
The batsman looked like they were in the first T20 again - overawed by sheer 'pace' and wanting to be conservative, but then getting out without much on the board. Vettori yesterday and the openers today showed that you can score runs against this team if you play them normally, and not as though they're sending down thunderbolts every ball. But that's not to say Australia's bowling hasn't been good, as it has been very professional.
