Wow.

Tbf Ronchi was going to be 'rested' this series and was only recalled because Watling got injured.
Fairly sure Ronchi was to be rested for the 2nd and 3rd Pakistani ODIs? They were always going to pick their best side for Australia, which used to be Ronchi. It isn't anymore. And he's probably still bolted in as the T20 keeper given Nicholls is very much a back up/non specialist.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
The fact that I seem to 'get' him more than most of the rest of you actually worries me greatly.
He's either:

A carefully orchestrated troll who knows full well the rubbish he posts

or

Incredibly naive about the rubbish he posts

I guess he could be a combination of the two but I'm pretty certain he's rubbish either way.

It's honestly reached the point now where we'd be better off going with someone like de Boorder or even Latham. It seems like Ronchi's eye-sight might've gone.

I would've opened the bowling if I were Baz. I mean, wtf not?

Yeah Watling was going to play but was injured. I would've rather they handed a debut to de Boorder or Seifert than continue with this hack.

I would go De Boorder for the t20 world cup.

It could well be his eyes. He's getting out going leg side every time where he looks to be playing involuntarily, which suggests seeing it late.

Derek's not the answer, his T20 numbers not good. Seifert? Seems early, but T20 is a junk format at international level so why not?

2nd game in a row I decided to limit my pain by putting money on Australia. Got them at $2.75 today after the McCullum and Guptill flyer.

NZ have really done exceptionally well to bollocks this game up so spectacularly from where they were at 1 down and 4 down. Quite impressive.

Getting dismissed by Scott Boland. FMD.

I'm pretty sure Scott Boland is the worst IPL/international player of all time. Man he's rubbish.

It could be his eyes because obviously he's older now, but he went through similar patches in Australia when he was much younger. He's always just been an awful nervous starter which means he can get into serious long ruts when he hits a rough patch.

It's a bit odd, Warner seems to miscue the ball in the air in the offside a surprising amount given how well he times it most of the time. Remember Doug getting him to miscue a few like that in the test series, and Henry's induced that kinda edge a couple times this series as well.
