Anyway I have a question, what language does Ganguly's nickname (?) 'Dada' come from and what does it mean? I'll excuse my ignorance on this.

Not all that unlikely. He does seem to revert to that type of bowling sometimes.
His stock delivery is the one that is chucked and the dart is his form of variation. For an off spinner he really doesn’t like bowling the off-break but if he does slow it down and not revert to the type of trite his bowled for going on three years now he should be a real handful.

Yep, I was right; that's Jason Krejza's first 5-fer in FC cricket. What a time to get it!

During the warm-up game in Hyderabad before the Test series began, Krejza was hit for 199 runs without taking any wicket. How did he react that evening? Did he brood? No he sang that day in the hotel: "Tears of Heaven" He ended his performance with the line "Because this guy was cool, this Michael Bevan" rhyming it perfectly with the last lines of the orginal song "I must be strong and carry on, 'cause I know I don't belong here in heaven."

Along with a colleague Nagraj, I bumped into Jason the next day - after his performance in the hotel - at the ground during pre-start practice. You said Michael Bevan right? And Jason turned around and said, yeah mate.. Why? 'Cos he is a cool guy!
How odd.

Annoyed I haven't been paying more attention to this now. What a strange innings.

Australia could bat well and score 550 and declare in 140-150 overs. And India will be under huge pressure to avoid being allout and give a chance to the Aussies.

You're right, though. For once, SS has reason to be worried. 450 was par on this deck, 500 is what the Indians would have felt safe with. 430, given they got there so quickly, leaves enough time for a result.

Look, I hate to big-note Borcich, but this is a fair call.

Everyone who laughed at him sure looks silly now. **** nearly took 10 ffs.
Yeah but keep it in context; he was belted otherwise, no way anyone could have predicted a 5-fer with any confidence.

Anyway, Aussies have started very confidently with the bat. I think they sense they have an 'in' now.

EDIT: haha, damn I'm good. Harbhajan opening the bowling.

Borcich predicted it with confidence (kept telling me he'd do it on MSN throughout as well). Good call as far as I'm concerned, deserves it due. 5 is 5, and considering he should have had 9.

Gotta be honest, I can't see Harbhajan getting much work on the ball just yet. The pitch isn't turning that much and Krejza beat blokes as much in the flight as anything.
