Yep.He is, but his test batting leaves much to be desired.

Yes because Brendon McCullum is not a world class player in his own right.
Currently working out his FCA AWS.Expecting Richard to froth at the mouth when he finds out.
Surely. The pitch just seems too good to risk a declaration. So I guess India will just bat out the rest of the match then?
Not even for five wickets?Out! Really good ball (very tired-looking shot, though) and when Brett Lee is bowling off-cutters, you know he's feeling pretty good so this could get interesting.
Hope the 40 overs Sehwag bowled were worth it.
EDIT: Nightwatchman? What the....?
Not if he's your opening batsman, in my view. Mind you, his 2nd innings record isn't great so I guess they weren't losing much. Not even for five wickets?
Only because Sharma and Mishra can't catch. Not if he's your opening batsman, in my view. Mind you, his 2nd innings record isn't great so I guess they weren't losing much.
The way I see it, the Aussies were always going to get close to the Indian score, even 5 wickets (4 bowled and 1 LBW even!) didn't prevent that. Yet him bowling 40 overs would have cost him in terms of batting. Not worth it, for mine.
Who else would have bowled them though? Especially when Kumble was injured. Maybe 40 was a bit much though, yeah. Not if he's your opening batsman, in my view. Mind you, his 2nd innings record isn't great so I guess they weren't losing much.
