Ha i see. India has too many damn grounds..
haha, preparations for the World Cup apparently. Just hoping the new VCA ground doesn't have an ugly stand like the Feroz Shah Kotla. The architect must have used a broken protractor or something.

For mine, if we bat for half the day today then we're well on the way to drawing this match. India won't make a bold second innings declaration and open the door for Australia (and nor should they). Kudos to the Aussies for the way they batted yesterday. Put simply, they swallowed their pride, looked ugly at times...but had a dig. Something which, in my view, they failed to do in the 2nd innings in the last Test.

This one? About 15 seconds in.

Wow, this is what we're talking about? That's it? Deal with it FFS. That's perfectly fine as far as I'm concerned.
150 ks going through the surface is not acceptable if it is happening consistently - it's dangerous and unplayable

Aus are still in deep trouble and it wouldnt surprise me if they missed the follow on

The wicket is behaving exactly as the curator predicted and is likely to have fallen apart by tomorrow which could spell curtains for Oz unless they battle long and hard today

The wicket of Clarke will be crucial today, everyone else is just tail. If India get him early then it's goodbye tom. Hopefully the others can just hang around for a while, not even expecting them to score runs.

Just tail hey? The difference between Clarke and Watson/Haddin isn't as big as you think.

Watson, Haddin and White are all tailenders now? They all may not be of the calibre of Ponting, Hussey etc but they are all very capable of digging in and scoring runs in this situation.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Surprising lack of talk going on.

Clarke and Watto carving up at the moment, run rate of over 4 in the last ten overs.
Not going to say anything in case I jinx eitherof these two.

Everyone is still laughing at Inbox24's suggestion that Watson, Haddin & White are "tail" imo.

It will probably peter out into a dull draw. Cricket in India is often like this, just a chance to see how many runs batsmen can score. It's the average boosting country. You'd want to play there all the time if you were a batsman, except for the occasional dustbowl.

Ha Ha, Australia have not avoided even follow on (though they will), and we are talking of dull draws.

I really think that Watson's all-round game given the difficult circumstances and his lack of test experience in this series has been top class. He's bowled well, actually been one of Australia's better bowlers, and he's been consistently solid with the bat when others have struggled. Very pleased.

edit: God I suck.

Jeez, Sehwag has been so consistent with his line and the kind of bite and turn he has got of the deck that its hard to believe he is a part-timer, forget about Bishen Bedi, Jason Krezja surely could do well to take a few bowling tips from Sehwag.
