How unlucky is Watto, he surely deserved a wicket of that ball, that was one hell of a bumper, well bowled Watto....

Absolutely superb bouncer. Watson has spoken out somewhat about shunting weights (and alcohol) and working more with pilates, bodyweight exercises and aligning the body and I feel that he used the latter well to channel the energy into that bouncer perfectly.

yea good ball but i feel that was not at all planned its just out frustration. and they are playing to defensive ala no slips

I'm liking what Watson is doing. He is probing a continuously good line, erring quite rarely. He is bowling within his limits. Atm, he is not going to be running through sides on a Day 1 track and so is bowling with very good accuracy and adequate pace up to 140kph.

Well atleast it not just watson straying in his bowling at least johnson is also getting some dmg done to him.

THERE NEEDS TO A CHANGE NOW , BRING ON LEE...

I'm not a huge fan of Johnson by any stretch but he's been comfortably Australia's best bowler this series both in how threatening his spells have looked and how effective he's actually been in terms of wickets, so a lot of the criticism he's been getting in this thread is unfounded at this point.

I still have the feeling the bubble will burst if he doesn't either become more accurate or start moving the ball a bit more but he's the least of Australia's problems at the moment.
He's quick and that's bringing some wickets for him. But he leaks boundaries so consistently! The pressure that puts on the team is not worth it imo. We can't build up and pressure at all with him bowling.

Ftr, Watson was getting movement in his first spell, but not now.

"Gambhir brushed Watson as he ran the first then, then they collided as he turned for the second. Watson said something to Gambhir as he went past, and moved forward with his shoulder, and then when Gambhir turned he stuck an arm in Watson's chest. A bit of give and take?"

Normally that would get pulled up wouldn't it?
Actually i think you may be onto something i think maybe gambhirs in a bit of trouble, He raised his elbow. We will see, but i think a appointment with the match referee is imminent for gambhir anyhow...

BTW nice 6 right ther great innings gauti :)

Well played Gambhir, has played a very patient and sensible knock, but its to get out now.

EDIT: Wow, cool way to bring up his century....
