Alright, own up. Which Indian fan invented a time machine, went back to 2004 and kidnapped Brett Lee?

Haha how good was that commentary by Ravi Shastri regarding substitutes?

"This is test cricket... stand there for 2 hours"

"And even if you have to take a whiz, control that too!"

Legend.
Was it Shastri who got a bit huffy about what the Indians would do to Oz if they were in India when they toured here last year? Katich should have stormed the commentary box and pissed all over him.

Break-up can always take its toll....
No doubt and he has my sympathy

However, at the end of the day he's made himself available, they've picked him and he's bowled crap so get him off

Anyway, I thought it was only fishermen that were mentally unfit for cricket

Don't think the breakup has much to do with it, he's just a bit rusty and'll get a lot better as the match and series goes on.

Sure hope so, although it's not exactly promising when that was probably his worst spell of the tour. Not that I don't expect him to bounce back, mind you.

Anyway, to give credit where it's due, the Indian batsmen have looked in top form and have put the bad balls away extremely well and ......

once again, Johnson has been far and away the best bowler

Excellent start from India, could have been worse for us if not for Johnson, still time for us to make inroads after lunch though. Gambhir, have never seen him so confident. No reason he can't go on to 100 from here, has been superb.

In other news, Watto looked good.

Awesome innings by Gambhir so far, one of my favourite current Indian players. So many times though he's failed to go on and get that hundred. I'm hoping today is the day that he gets to triple figures.

How come the stadiums are so empty? You'd think India with it's cricket-mad population would love to see their team versus the best team in the world.
