***Official*** Australia in India

Disappointing loss, but been an entertaining game.

I'll say a couple of things. Anyone who criticises Tendulkar is a dickhead. Honestly, he gave India the chance to win this game.

Dravid has had a pathetic series, absolutely woeful.

Yuvraj batted horribly too.

What an over from Mitch maiden and 2 wickets, for a man without much experience he has shown tremendous nerve and skill to perform under this sort of pressure.

Agreed about Johnson. Reckon he has a pretty high chance of being selected in the Test team now too.

Yeah congrats Australia, too good.

This was India giving back the favour after the 4th ODI I feel. Australia should have won that won and choked, and India did the same here.

The others Australia were simply too good in.

Well played Aussies, congrats. Deserved the win thoroughly. Mitchell Johnson simply too good in the end. Entertaining game in the end.

Dravid pretty much had a pathetic series thus so far, should sit out the next game and allow the likes of Badhrinath or Rohit sharma the spot.

Lack of planning when they were batting cost India the match more than anything else!
Johnson has come of age in this series and that's great to see.

There wasn't a lack of planning, it was just they had the wrong plan.

I find the decision to send Irfan in at 3 was fine. Australia still had the last powerplay to use, and so Irfan had the license to hit, and did his job well.

But sending in Dravid next was so poor. There wasn't a need, and thats not in hindsight either as I said it at the time. I was sure they'd send in Yuvraj.

Even then, Yuvraj batted like an amateur. Pressure got to him, very disappointing considering some of the pressure knocks he's hit in the past.

Uthappa continously shows he's great at the death, but really the death started from the last 15 overs onwards. I would have thought about sending in Uthappa ahead of Dravid too, or Dhoni, one of the two.

Well played both teams in the end, but it was a bit too much for Uthappa and Dhoni to do in the end, despite a brillant effort by them to make a game of it. Johnson sure displayed a pretty cool head at the death, and that might be the best allround game Symonds has played for Australia.

MOM - Ponting, for his cuddle and whispered sweet nothings to Pathan...

Yes! Top win, India really lost their way there after cruising with Sachin and Ganguly, shows how much a wicket can kill a run chase. Good game though, very exciting from beginning till end with heaps of momentum shifts. Also not really a fan of these tracks being used on a regular basis, killed it for the bowlers.

48.6 Johnson to Harbhajan Singh, no run, beaten outside the off stump once again, Harbhajan doesn't connect with the slog over midwicket, Johnson completes a double-wicket maiden in the 49th over, how's that for a knock-out punch
48.5 Johnson to Harbhajan Singh, no run, full ball outside the off stump, Harbhajan tries to drive but gets beaten
48.4 Johnson to Dhoni, OUT, and that should be the match for Australia! Dhoni gets under a ball and hits it high in the air, Ponting runs back from mid-on and settles under the steepling catch, the crowds fall silent as the series all but slips away from India's reach
MS Dhoni c Ponting b Johnson 26 (44m 29b 2x4 1x6) SR: 89.65
48.3 Johnson to Dhoni, no run, Dhoni charges and has a wild swing at a slower delivery outside off stump, he was no where close to making contact
48.2 Johnson to Dhoni, no run, driven powerfully off the back foot but straight o Symonds at cover
Harbhajan is the new batsman but Dhoni will be on strike. He needs face the bulk of the deliveries henceforth if India want to get close.
48.1 Johnson to Uthappa, OUT, caught! Uthappa walks down the pitch one too many times and tries to loft Johnson down the ground, the outside edge flies high in the air in the direction of point where Hopes moves to his right and takes a well-judged catch, Australia have taken a crucial wicket
RV Uthappa c Hopes b Johnson 44 (33m 28b 5x4 2x6) SR: 157.14
