So as soon as Bhajji deposited Warne into the stands he walked down the wicket towards Warne looking him straight in the eyes and clapped his bat pon his hand in applause.
The Aussies were really sledging. Some just desserts...SJS said:Yes. Lehmann (and maybe a couple of others close by) were talking to Harbhajan before this. Also mock applauding him once. Especially his wicket of Pathan in the first innings was such a beauty - when Pathan got that HUGE edge (the same one that Sehwag did NOT get and was lbw) and was caught behind. I guess in this innings Bowden and Bucknor need to step in and get Pathan out for Shane like they did in the first innings. So he can beat Murali fair and square.SJS said:Warne is definitely a bowling better than ever before in his career !!
His bowling on this tour of India 4 for 193 so far (average a creditable sub 50) is a considerable improvement on his past record.
No he didnt. But my point is that Indians (even in this wretched performance) appear to play him with relative comfort.Tony Blade said:Average aside, he didnt really bowl THAT badly.

The sporting, fair and honest Aussies clearly saw Pathan's caught behind edge but missed Sehwag's lbw non-edge and appealed in both instances (but were not fined for appealing excessively)SJS said:Warne is definitely a bowling better than ever before in his career !!

im sure you meant terribleSJS said:Warne hammered out of attack by numbers 8 and 10 !!
and on a 'horrible' wicket tailormade for spinners
It was very funny. Even as McGrath bent down to pick up the ball (before he got his hands on it) Harbhajan scampered like a man posessed towards point !! Anticipating correctly what McGrath would do even though batsman was firmly in the creaseJustTool said:57 overs to go. Now only if the top order had just batted 6-8 overs each india would have a draw. I guess they were too busy counting their contract payments, bonuses and endorsements moneys.
What's with McGrath threatening to throw the ball back on the stumps and batsman ? As Ian Chapell once said :"someday a batsman needs to whack McGrath with the bat for doing that". How come umpires never warn him for that stupid manuever ?
Thats pretty much called Cricket .If I am not mistaken ...Jono said:The Indians need to watch the ball coming into the stumps next game.
